About My Blog

I am proud to introduce you to my blog, which is a unique synthesis of Hip-Hop, politics, history, psychology, economics, sociology and creative expressive that seeks to link the old with the new, traditional with the hip, the elite with the underclass and the regional with the international. This blog will report on matters affecting people whose views are often times underrepresented and even ignored by traditional forms of media. That being said, this blog is specifically designed to target one race, the human race!

It is my belief that we are currently at the threshold of a global renaissance (rebirth) that is similar to the Harlem Renaissance of the 1920s and 1930s, except this is a global renaissance movement that is not based out of a particular city, state or country. This movement is being mobilized utilizing the unifying powers and accessibility of the Internet. This blog will harness these qualities of the Internet to broadcast news, thoughts, experiences, culture, music, art and all type of other interesting things to every corner of our globe. Amil Cook’s Blog seeks to be informative, educational and inspirational.

I have close friends, family and colleagues throughout the United States of America, South America, Africa, Asia and Europe, who will be serving as guest contributors to my blog . Together we will focus on providing people with reliable and honest journalism and culture from various perspectives with the goal of uplifting, educating, and empowering people.

This blog is currently in the formative stages and I am looking for your support  as I seek to be able to provide you with the highest quality and innovative journalism available. This will be an ongoing process but without support from people around the globe these efforts will largely go unnoticed. This is why we are relying on people to share our links with their friends, family and colleagues.

Stay connected this is the beginning of something Great!

Be Blessed,

Amil Cook

    1. Chantelle thanks for checking out the blog and I am so happy that you enjoyed it! I am a free lance journalist at this point, covering and sharing stories and content that I personally find interesting and empowering. Have fun with it and try not to let it get you too stressed…trust me it can! You are on the right track though.
